Welcome to my web page created for my favorite figure skater ever.
Brian Boitano is the 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist who took the gold in the much lauded Battle of the Brians in Calgary. Although I've always loved figure skating, Brian was the first performer whose career I continually stayed interested in. I think he is the most lyrical skater to ever stand on the ice, in addition to his flawless technique.
In the past, Brian performed with Tom Collins Tour of Champions. He has retired from tour skating, yet still skates in shows, looking good in his tight pants & still kicking butt after all these years. It will be interesting to see which path Brian takes in the future, but I'm placing bets that he will be a phenomenal choreographer. He has his own production company, White Canvas Productions.
I didn't find that many pictures of Brian on the web, and none of these had copyrights attached to them. So I figured what they heck, and I stole them. I belong behind bars. However, if you do see a picture that is yours and you have a copyright on it, please e-mail me and I will credit you with it. The ones at the bottom of the page I used with the consent of the owner, and you may use the link to her page to see all of her incredible pictures.
Be sure and hit the Brian Boitano links listed below. If you have any info, pictures, etc. please e-mail me with them and I will add them to this page.
I had joined a Brian Boitano yahoo group to stay abreast of Brian's career, but unfortunately I felt compelled to quit the group early on. There were some really nice fellow skating fans. There were also some not really nice people who only wanted to post nauseatingly graphic sexual innuendos including speculation about his sex life and their own little sexual fantasies about Brian. I felt sort of like a perv even being part of the group. Quite a few of the people I really liked chatting with quit too, which is unfortunate considering that many of them got to see shows, etc. that I didn't get to attend.
I have seen Brian perform live several times. However I would like to add that I have never met Brian personally. I do not know him, stalk him or have any knowledge of him outside of his skating. I don't know his e-mail, his address, or any other such nonsense. That's my most commonly asked question.
